Physical Wellness Benefits
Medical Coverage (UnitedHealthcare)
At Acuity Systems, we offer several medical coverage options (including prescriptions). Plan options vary from PPO, HMO, HDHP, and more with choices on deductible, out-of-pocket maximum, copays, etc.
Dental Coverage (UnitedHealthcare)
Dental benefits are offered independently from medical but are bundled with Vision coverage, paying 100% of preventative and diagnostic services, 80% of basic services, and 50% of major services.
Vision Coverage (VSP Vision Service Plan)
Vision benefits are offered independently from medical but are bundled with Dental coverage. Generally, 100% of eligible expenses are covered after copay when using network providers.
Acuity supports health fitness through the Insperity® Wellness Program and free Fitness Center access at our home office location.
Financial Wellbeing Benefits
401(K) (John Hancock)
We make matching 401K contributions equal to your salary deferrals up to 1% of your compensation and match 50% of deferrals between 1% and 6%. The vesting schedule is 100% after 2 years (25% after 1 year).
Basic Life Insurance
Acuity Systems offers basic employer-paid term life insurance equal to 1 x annual earning ($50,000 maximum). Employees have the option to purchase additional life insurance.
Accidental Death & Disability
Basic employer-paid accidental death insurance equal to 1 x annual earning ($50,000 maximum). Buy additional AD&D.
Disability (Short Term & Long Term)
Short-Term Disability (STD) insurance pays up to 60% of covered weekly earnings, up to $2,308 per week. Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurance pays up to 60% of covered monthly earnings, up to $10,000 per month. Employees have the option to purchase additional disability insurance.
Work-Life Balance Benefits
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Acuity Systems encourages all employees to take paid time off to rest and recharge. We provide PTO accruals to regular full-time employees based on years of service; 15 days for 0 – 5 years and 20 days for employees with 5+ years.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCSFA)
The dependent care plan allows for pretax reimbursement of certain expenses related to dependent care. Under the IRS, these expenses can be for children up to age 13 or dependents of any age that are mentally or physically incapable of self-care.
Acuity Systems observes ten (10) paid holidays each calendar year as identified by the federal government.
Reimbursement up to $2,000 per calendar year for approved learning for employees with less than 5 years of employment; increasing to $3,000 after 5 years. An additional $1,500 per year is available through our Insperity Educational Assistance Program.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP counseling and consultation service is available to all employees (and their dependents), with most services available at no cost.
